Stephen Ministry

The world today is a busy place, and we often feel ignored when we are hurting. The Stephen Ministers of this congregation are trained to give comfort and listen to those who need an ear.

In a little over 20 years, we have trained 48 Stephen Ministers and/or leaders. Today we have four active Stephen Ministers and three leaders. As part of our caring mission, we also visit those who are homebound with communion.

Love INC Bedding Ministry

We are honored to be a partner church with Love In the Name of Christ of Greater Mansfield. This ministry supplies bedding to people in need; including pillows, sheets and pillowcases; blanket(s); a bedspread, comforter, or quilt; and mattress pad, when available.  We recently had a "Pillow Fight" where sides of the church competed for donated pillows as they stacked up on each side of the alter.

When we contact the neighbor to confirm the correct bed size, we also talk and pray with them as representatives of Christ. By pulling together, Main Street UMC and partner churches hope to forge a relationship with our neighbors and invite them to church.

Blue Rose Ministry

Main Global Methodist proudly works hand in hand with the Blue Rose Mission, a ministry that brings Christ to homeowners in Richland County through home improvement projects.

For the last eight years, the Blue Rose Mission has assisted homeowners in need with home repairs and a loving hand. To apply to be a part of our community, and make a difference in yours, click on the link below.

Choir and Music Program

Our choir provides uplifting music on Sundays and at special events. We are always looking for additional voices! Practice is held every Wednesday, 6:30-7:30 PM, at the church. Call or Text Paulette Zeigler at 419-564-5962 to get connected.
